One of the last original 40's-50's "motor courts"--I think it pre-dates motels! Very tiny, but the paint is all fresh and everything was immacualate. Have stayed 3 times so far; my husband stayed for 2 weeks while I was in the hospital nearby. Not only is it the least expensive motel in the area, it is a straight shot 10 minutes up the street to Stanford Hospital, as well as very close to Stanford University. It does not have all of the amenities of a big box motel, but it does have charm and the manager and his wife are very kind and gracious people who obviously take a great deal of pride in keeping it up. The roses outside the rooms are truly outstanding! Personally, I prefer character to perfection as long as everything is clean, works, and is reasonably comfortable. Rooms have wi-fi and basic TV, cofee pot, mini frig, iron and ironing board and hair dryer. There are no enclosed closets (no room), but the rooms do have shelves, hangers, and a dresser. The bathrooms are very tiny (toilet and tub/shower combo), with a single sink outside the bathroom in the room itself. Our beds were quite firm (which I like) and the sheets and other linens and towels were clean. The AC was a bit noisy but worked fine. The rooms were very quiet at night. I would definitely recommend this motel, with the caveat that it is going to be a step back in time, and if you want everything to be really modern you won't be happy. I love it, though, and we are planning to stay again in a couple of months. I have stayed at a number of other motels in the area, and I like this one the best! Note to one of the other posters--yes, there is an extra charge for a second person, as well as another charge for a second bed. This is standard in every hotel or motel I have ever stayed at, at least if you are honest about the number of guests....I think most adults are aware of this.

The first thing was smiling people welcoming us.. fast service and excellent location. But what we appreciated the most was how immaculate everything was. The entire place is extremely well kept, and very very clean. The price was right on our budget. Yes We will definitely come back.

The staff at the Budget Motel were great. Everyone was very friendly and accommodating. This great experience started the minute we checked in. Room was clean and odor free. Overall, great experience. will definitely book next time!!!

The management was very professional as well as accommodating, the rooms are very nice and clean. The experience was as if it was a five star hotel. Each time I come to town I will be reserving my room in advance. Recently renewed room , Staff are very friendly to help what we request . All the restaurant are very close and walking distance from this place . Next time when I need to come in the area I will stay with this place

A great stay is always remembered, Budget Motel! We had stayed there for a couple of times when we visited the bay area. Easy to commute and feels nice to have good neighborhoods around. The property has been managed very well with beautiful roses around. The owners take personal attention to check all the rooms for cleanliness (which we saw during our stay) and the staff is friendly too. The prices when compared to other places are less. We are planning to go there once again this summer due to reduced Covid restrictions. There is no doubt that Budget motel has been a better place to stay within the bay area.

I recently stayed at Budget Motel and had a fantastic experience! The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The staff was friendly and provided excellent service. The motel's location is convenient, with easy access to nearby attractions. Overall, a great value for the price. I highly recommend it!

Thank you for being my savior for the night. There were no rooms available today and I thought i was scared if i would find a place to sleep tonight. Best price compared to prices in downtown - please do check, they get something figured out for you. Glad I stopped by and asked if they had any rooms available- most places were out there to charge me 400-500 because of the rush but they saved me. Thanks Budget Motel-true to your name. Comfy bed, microwave, and mini refrigerator along with Sat-TV channels sweetened the deal for me.
